I am staying in Spokane, WA for this weekend and decided to visit Green Bluff for the first time. Supposedly, this is the last nice weekend to be there before cold weather hits. Green Bluff is an association of small family farms and food stands. They have lots of orchard farms and pumpkin patches. I have never seen that many pumpkins in my whole life.
The weather was a little cold and damp today but the sun was finally out when we went. The view from up there was spectacular. One item that was very popular there today was Mini Pumpkin Donut. There was a long line for them at every place we went. They smelled and tasted amazing.
I didn’t get any apple or vegetable. However, at one of the places we stopped, there was a jerky stand. I am a jerky lover, and these jerky they have was amazing. Jerky in Vietnam is always spicy so I have always tried to find them here. I got two bags of this really spicy jerky, and now I am enjoying them while blogging this for you guy. Yum!
The place I love the most called High Country Orchard. This place sells homemade pie, apple, pumpkin, and many more things. They have the cutest kitchen and decorating stuffs. The atmosphere of the store is very warm and welcoming. I felt so happy going through the whole store to discover what they have. In each little section, they have different style for the merchandise they offer.
And of course, I couldn’t leave the store without getting some goodies for myself. If I could, I would buy everything they have there. You have to be there to understand my excitement. So I got a bear-shaped sign says “Some days are more bearable than other” because it’s a little inside joke between me and my boyfriend. Plus, it’s absolutely adorable. I also got a set of tea light candle holders, Gardenia room spray and sachets for my closet. Last but not least, I got a jar of wild flower honey so I can have some with my tea when I have a cold.
The weather wasn’t perfect for an outing but I had a wonderful time. I would definitely go there next year when the weather is nice out. I caught this stunning sight on my way down from Green Bluff so we stopped to take a picture. Enjoy!
